The Brand
If you’ve been on Instagram, Pinterest or any interior design website recently you may have seen a certain penchant for a new wave of Japanese and Scandi themed colour and interiors. Born out of this is the stunning new five story space at the heart of Belgravia, Pantechnicon, home to the first and only UK outpost of Café Kitsune, the successful French patisserie-style café with a slight Japanese twist that’s shot to fame in Tokyo, NYC and Paris.

The Task
The team at Café Kitsune asked us to create a range of branded products with unique shapes, sizes and print finishes for the launch of the first café on UK shores – it just so happened to be on the ground floor of London’s coolest new creative space (no pressure).
Alongside supplying the with our bread-and-butter products of coffee and clear cups, we were tasked with producing boxes to case their (mouth-watering) sandos. Their team wanted the boxes to have a unique finish and premium feel that matched the environment it would be served in. The Kitsune team also wanted a new, creative way to brand their poke bowls to add a little wow-factor in a crowded marketplace.
The Outcome
Our talented production team pulled this one out the bag. Through our advanced capabilities, we were able to bespoke print the sando boxes with an Spot UV finish that gave the boxes real texture – providing a sense of occasion when their customers unfolded it to get to their food.
We then went one step further with the poke packaging. For the packaging itself, we suggested bespoke branded sleeves - a product that provides a unique yet premium feel, whilst also holding the food together remarkably well for the upsurge in delivery requests.
Not only did we then apply the Spot UV finish but we also die-cut the sleeves with a pop out of Kitsune’s well known foxhead icon! How’s that for bespoke?
