At the centre of the recent boom in quick commerce grocery delivery companies is Go Puff, the world leader in this space. Operating in over 650 cities in the US, and as of 2021 they made their first foray into the UK and European markets having acquired competitors Fancy and Dija.
With a big push needed for their entrance into the UK and European markets, Go Puff needed a seamless transition of the newly acquired fancy and Dija brands delivery sites into their Go Puff branded sites, all in a very short period of time.
They were looking for a partner that could ensure speed and quality in equal measure, requiring a supply of their branded paper carrier bags for deliveries and also the establishment of a full storage and fulfilment option to enable individual sites and site managers to request their own package as and when they need it.
We've really been able to display our full range of capabilities with Go Puff, having produced over 1,000,000 fully bespoke, branded paper bags across a whole range of bag types – counter bags, grab bags and flat handle bags. Each of the bag sizes has to be created for specific product types, each with a different need, from pharmacy items and fruit vegetables, to fresh items and general essentials, all with required paper weights to ensure they were sturdy and able to hold the required products confidently.
We were working to an average lead time of 6 weeks, even with the largest volume orders, having to deliver to both the UK and France. On top of this, we created end-to-end ordering processes for all of the individual sites, as well as an inventory tracker for their head office that enabled them to assess performance across all their sites and mange re-stocking.
