The Brand  

First established in 2021 by Phil Lawrance and Lucy Cunrow after the couple decided to make their dream of starting a quirky bakery and bar brand that combines the holy trinity of cakes, coffee and cocktails all in one place. Harnessing Lucy’s skill and passion for baking and the couples desire to start their own business, Lawrence’s was born.

The Task

Lawrance’s underwent a full refurbishment of their stores in order to create a real brand experience for their customers, but were still using unbranded packaging and old stickers and stamps on their products – depriving themselves of the organic marketing that nicely branded packaging provides.

As part of their next stage of growth it was imperative that they created packaging that reflected and complemented their new identity and snazzy new store design – we were happy to oblige.

The Outcome

We worked closely with the couple to develop and create a new range of branded packaging that seamlessly fits with their brand world. Our starting point had to be the base pink colour that adorned the walls of their stores, so we colour matched it and used that throughout the packaging, alongside a baja design that really made the products stand out.

It wasn’t just coffee cups either, we also helped to design and create bespoke full-colour printed bags, pizza boxes, soup cups, clear cups and greaseproof paper – ensuring that the cute quirkiness of Lawrance’s shines through in every aspect of their customer experience.
