If you’ve ever been to a restaurant in the UK, you’ve probably visited one owned by The Big Table group. Operating over 150 restaurants across the country, including the likes of Bella Italia and Café Rouge, they’re one of the leading restaurant groups in the UK.
The Big Table were looking to increase the delivery segment within their group, and set out to create and test three new delivery-only pasta concepts to keep up with the on-going boom in kitchen to home delivery services.
With a primary need to be agile in their approach, the group needed a branded packaging supplier that was able to work quickly, while maintaining high standards. They wanted to focus on a couple of key branded packaging lines, inserting them as the ‘hero product’ across each of the three concepts.
We worked alongside the client to standardise sizes of their fully printed bags, as well as container sleeves that worked across all three of their delivery concepts. Once prototyping and design was locked in, we were then able to deliver the fully branded packaging concepts within a 5 week period (well actually 3 for sleeves!!), paying particular attention to each brands strong visual look and feel. Each brand used specific bold colours, aimed at appealing and testing different target markets.
